Clear Grade
Clear Cedar is a high-quality wood known for its minimal Knots.

Premium Knotty Grade
Premium Knotty grade Cedar is a step above our #1 Grade Cedar, offering a higher quality and aesthetic appeal.  Premium Cedar is characterized by its tight grain, uniform texture, and minimal imperfections.  Some minor defects may include small drying cracks and minimal wane on the back side of some boards.
Good face will have no defects (no missing knots, holes, large cracks, no major wane, skip or damaged edges)
If ordering Premium as pieces, Ridge Cedar will do our best to meet requested lengths, however order will be finished  as footage if lengths are not all available.
Example:  Order is 200 pcs 1 x 6 x 12' and 200 pcs 1 x 6 x 10' we will prep order in 10' and 12' if we have 150 pcs of each we will do the remainder in footage.

#1 Knotty Grade
#1 Knotty Grade Cedar is a grade of Cedar lumber that features a more rustic, knotty appearance.  This grade still offers high quality and durability, the presence of knots gives it a unique character, making it popular choice for projects where a natural, warm look is desired.  This grade has knots, but they are generally tight and sound.
The front side may have minimal blemishes (dark solid knots, small dry cracks, and possibly tiny soft knots).  No holes, rot, or major cracks on the good face.
The back side may have the odd board with minor dry rot, skip, wane, soft knot.
This grade does not meet Premium grade.

#2 Knotty Grade
#2 Knotty Grade Cedar is a lumber grade known for its natural imperfections, including knots, and a rustic appearance.  This grade will have missing knots, skip, dry rot, wane, and drying cracks.
This grade does not meet #1 Grade.
