SHIPPING, RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Delivery for in-store purchases

Ridge Cedar Ltd. strives to provide convenient same or next-day delivery service at a fair and affordable price. Please contact us for pricing. (506)-363-8020

While we will make every effort to place your product as close as possible to where it is to be used, extra services (including, but not limited to, the placement of product anywhere other than where it can be dumped via flatbed truck or directly off load from the truck) will incur additional charges.

Clear communication by our customers regarding specific delivery concerns and situations at point of order is extremely helpful in ensuring a successful delivery experience.

Returns for in-store purchases

Returns of regularly-stocked items are accepted within 20 days of original purchase subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • All returned items must be accompanied by their original receipt, in their original packaging, unused and in good condition. Lumber and panel items must not be cut, weathered, or otherwise, show any signs of use to receive credit.  We cannot offer returns for special order items, items marked final sale or items sold more than 20 days previous.

  • Refunds will be issued by the original method of payment. In the event payment was made by cheque, refunds will be subject to a 21-day waiting period from time of original purchase, after which a company cheque will be issued to the customer to complete the refund process.

  • Returns of large quantities may take up to 5 business days to process due to verification procedures.

In the event you require a pickup of returns from your job site, pick-up fees plus a handling charge may apply.

Requirements for Returns

  • Items must be returned within 20 days of receipt of purchase.

  • Items returned after 20 days from receipt of original purchase will not be refunded.

  • Items must be in new condition.

  • Items must not have been used or show signs of use.

  • Items must be returned with all original packaging and accessories.

  • Items must be unopened and still in their original wrap and/or packaging.

 

Returning Items

All costs of a return, for example, courier costs, are the responsibility of the purchaser. Costs of returning any product will not be refunded.

 

Refunds
If all of the requirements are met, the original purchase amount, including a 20% restocking fee, will be refunded based on the original purchase method. Shipping costs will not be refunded. If all of the requirements have not been met, no refund will be given, the customer will be contacted and will have the option of having the item(s) returned to them freight collect.

Note: Your return will be reviewed and processed as soon as we receive the returned product. Please allow 30 days for return shipping, processing and for a credit to display on your credit card statement.

 

Due to the size and nature of our products sold on our online store, our shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

 

Your item will be shipped out immediately after your transaction has been approved. Please note that unless specified otherwise, Ridge Cedar Ltd. uses three shipping methods for your purchase: Purolator, Courier delivery, or our own delivery trucks. If your order is shipped out via Purolator or a Courier service, we will update your shipping information with an accurate tracking number so you can track where your shipment is. All Shipments will be delivered Monday-Friday during business hours. For smaller deliveries shipped via a third party carrier (ex Purolator) you must be available to sign for your package or else it will be sent to the closest depo and it will be your responsibility to pick it up. If you require delivery at an alternate address, please let us know as soon as you place the order so we can send to the best address. If your order is shipped out through our own delivery service, you will receive a call to set up a time that is convenient for you to receive your delivery.

Order Confirmations

You will receive an order confirmation via e-mail as soon as you place your order with us. You will receive a shipping confirmation, again via e-mail, once your order has shipped. Please keep a copy of these documents, in case you need to refer to the order number or other information at a later time.

 

Payment

Your card will not be charged until goods are shipped or picked up. If the materials are sent/picked up on different dates, or shipped in multiple packages, you may see multiple transactions equalling the initial agreed upon transaction amount.

 

Electronic Communications

When you visit ridgecedar.com or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You are communicating with us electronically also confirms that you consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
